MDC Eduardo J. Padron Campus Business Closet
The Gen-You Committee at Dade County Federal Credit Union believes in making a positive impact in the community by equipping students with the necessary tools to succeed. Recently, we hosted a business closet drive at Miami Dade College Eduardo J. Padron Campus with the support of our CEO George Joseph.
Appropriate business attire is crucial for interviews, internships, and other professional events. Dressing professionally is a vital part of creating a good first impression that can either make or break a job opportunity. However, not all students have access to the necessary attire, which is why drives like these are essential.
Drives like these have an immeasurable impact on students in the community. For some students, the cost of a business outfit is too high, which could lead to missed job opportunities. By providing access to professional attire, we are giving them a fighting chance in the workforce.
Dade County Federal Credit Union is committed to continuing our partnership with Miami Dade College Eduardo J. Padron Campus. We plan to keep the business closet stocked and support their food pantry. We are thankful to Dr. Robert Troy, the Dean of Students at Eduardo J. Padron Campus, for introducing us to the students he serves.
In conclusion, the Gen-You Committee at Dade County Federal Credit Union is making a real difference in the lives of students in our community. We help them achieve their goals and build a better future for themselves and their families by providing the tools they need to succeed. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Miami Dade College Eduardo J. Padron Campus and supporting their students in every possible way.
