Dade County Federal Credit Union Spreads Smiles at Nicklaus Children's Hospital!

This past week, the team from Dade County Federal Credit Union (DCFCU) had the incredible opportunity to spend time with the amazing kids at Nicklaus Children's Hospital (NCH). It was a day filled with laughter, creativity, and heartwarming moments!

We set up a fun-filled activity center right in the hospital, complete with:

• Painting station: Budding Picassos unleashed their inner artists, creating colorful masterpieces that brightened everyone's day.

• Candy corn bowling: This festive twist on a classic game had kids giggling and cheering with every strike (and even the gutter balls!).

• Spin the wheel: Prizes galore! Every spin was a winner, bringing smiles and excitement to the kids.

• Therapy dog cuddles: The real stars of the show were the police therapy dogs. These gentle furry friends brought comfort and joy to the children, offering a welcome distraction and a whole lot of love.

And of course, no fun day is complete without treats! The wonderful staff at NCH provided delicious popcorn, cookies, and refreshing apple juice to keep our energy levels up.

But the highlight of the day was witnessing the joy and gratitude on the faces of the children and their parents. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of community and giving back. We were honored to bring a little bit of sunshine into their day.
