Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Like most in our community, Dade County Federal Credit Union is closely monitoring the rapidly changing circumstances associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have created an internal task force, including our top management, that is meeting daily to review the evolving issues related to the virus and how it impacts our members and employees.

Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local authorities, we urge all members and staff to:

  • Stay home if you are sick. Seek medical treatment if you show symptoms including fever, cough or shortness of breath, particularly if you have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or if you have recently traveled from an area with widespread or ongoing community spread of COVID-19.

  • Frequently wash your hands.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Cover your mouth and nose – with a tissue, if possible – when coughing or sneezing, then properly discard the tissue in the trash.

  • Avoid close contact with anyone else who is coughing or sneezing or who is otherwise sickClean or disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

  • Practice “social distancing” by minimizing close contact with others and avoiding large gatherings.

At Dade County Federal Credit Union, we have increased the cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing that occurs throughout the day in our branches. We also have set out additional hand-sanitizing stations, and we welcome our members to use them frequently when visiting a branch.

If you choose not to visit a branch, we are available to serve you through our drive-through teller stations, via phone and online – with our online banking system and mobile app.

Many common transactions can be completed online or using our app, including:

  • Deposit checks from a mobile device.

  • Pay bills online.

  • Check balances. Transfer funds.

  • Review statements.

  • Apply for loans and credit cards.

  • Pay for Loans.

Please keep in mind that when paying for a DCFCU Loan and you need to use funds from another financial institution, please use the “External Loan Payment” option.

Thank you for being a valued member. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 305-471-5080 or WeCare@dcfcu.org.

Sincerely,

George Joseph
